Abstract:Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry(GC-MS)technology performs well intheanalysisof tracecomponents incomplex mixturesduetoitshighsensitivityselectivity,andseparationability.Inenvironmentalmonitoring,GCMS technology is widelyusedfordetecting organicpollutants inmediasuchas water,soil,andatmosphere,ensuring the acuracy of detectionresults through scientific sample pretreatment methods.Basedon the principleofGC-MS technology, its specificapplicationsaresummarizedinthedetectionoforganicpolutantsindiferentenvironmentalmedia,especiallin ambientair,water,andsoil.Atthesametime,thechallngesofGC-MS technology inequipmentcost,sample pretreatment, anddataanalysisare pointedout,anditsapplication prospects in future environmental monitoringarediscussed.Inthe future,GC-MS technologywillplayamore importantrole inenvironmental monitoring tobetterprotecttheecological environment.
