Detection Method of Heavy Metal Element Content in Tap Water Based onICP-MSMethod

Abstract:Whendetectingthecontentofhavymetalelements intapwater,itissusceptibletointerferencefrommatrix substances,resultinginsignificanterors.Therefore,methodfordetecting heavymetalelementcontentintapwaterbased on Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS)is proposed.Byscientificallseting theparametersof mass spectrometry instruments,standard parameters for mass spectrometry processing applicable to tap water samples are derived,reducing the interferenceof matrix substances on heavy metal elementsignalsand improving thesensitivityand accuracyof detection.Calculate thecoefcientof variationofheavy metalions basedonICP-MS methodand evaluate the degreeofdatadispersion.Using methodssuchascorrelationcoeffcientandchisquare test,combinedwithcoeffcientof variation,todetectthecontentof heavymetal elements intap water.Theexperimentalresultsshowed thatusing ICP-MS method to detect heavy metal elements in tap water samples resulted in a concentration value withan error of ±0.005mg/L (20 compared to the true value, indicating high accuracy.
