Abstract：Climate change is intensifying，extreme weather eventsare occurring frequentlyand urbansustainable development is facing unprecedented challenges.From the perspective of climate adaptation basedon urban safety，by integrating existingliterature，analyzetheimpactofclimatechangeonurbaneconomy，society，andenvironment.Research hasfound that natural endowments playadecisiveroleintheformationandearlydevelopmentofcities，butas climate change intensifies，cities need toadress thedual challenges ofnatural environmentand socio-economicdevelopment byenhancing their climateadaptationcapabilities.Green infrastructure，low-carbon economy，communityparticipation， Artificial Intellgence （AI） technologyandotherstrategiesarekeypaths toenhanceurban climateadaptationcapabilities and promote sustainable development.
