Research on the Significance and Strategy of Environmental Monitoring under the Dual Carbon Perspective

Abstract:Inordertoexploreoptimization strategies for environmental monitoring underthedual carbongoals,this paper analyzes thesignificanceof environmental monitoring inthecontextofdualcarbongoals,andthechallnges itfaces. Theanalysis suggests thatenvironmentalmonitoring plays akeyrolein achieving the dual carbon goals by providing data support forpolicy-making,promoting industrialrestructuring,and enhancing environmental governance.However, chalengesremaininreassuchastechnologicalinnovation,monitoringsitelayout,andtalentdevelopment.Inlightofthese issues,the paperrecommends increasing investmentintechnologicalresearchanddevelopment,optimizing the onitoring network layout,andstrengthening thecultivationofmonitoring talenttoimprove theoverallefectivenessofenvironmental monitoring,thereby contributing to the achievement of carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.
