Study on the Spatiotemporal Characteristics and Influencing Factors of PM2.5 Pollution in Sichuan Province

Abstract：This study takes fine particulate matter （PM2.5） ）pollution in Sichuan province in 2O24 as the research object， andsystematicalyanalyzesitsspatiotemporaldistributioncharacteristicsand influencingfactors.Theresearchresults indicate that the PM2.5 concentration in Sichuan province exhibits a seasonal variation pattern of high in winter and low in summer over time，and a spatial distribution patern of high in the east and low in the west，and PM2.5 pollution is influenced byacombinationofnaturalandhumanfactors.Amongnaturalfactors，lowwindspeed，inversionlayer，andvallyterain significantlyinhibit thedifusionof polutants;among humanfactors，industrial emisions，transportationemissions，and household emissions are the main sources of PM2.5 pollution，and the energy consumption structure with a high proportion of coal，the economic model dominated by heavy industry，and the high population density further exacerbate PM2.5 pollution. The research results reveal the spatiotemporal characteristics and influencing factors of PM2.5 pollution in Sichuan province， providingascientificbasis forformulatingdiferentiatedpollutionpreventionandcontrolstrategies，which isof great significance for improving regional air quality and achieving sustainable development.
