Abstract：Basedonthemonitoringresultsof geographicalconditions，surfacecoveragedataof typicalareas inYibincity areobtained.Spatialanalysisshowsthattheexpansionofurbanconstructionlandcomesatthecostofencroachingonarable land，forestladsddeoioablentstsasasiie efectnthecologicalenvironment，andthedevelopmentofforests，graslands，ndgardensishemainsourceofableland supplementation.Researchhasshownthatregional economicdevelopmentneeds tobalance ecological protectionandfarmland resource security，andamore comprehensive understanding offarmland resourceutilization should beestablished.
