Impact of Urban Waste Incineration Facilities on the Atmosphere and WaterBodies

Abstract：Urban waste incineration facilities can efectively treat household waste，buttheygeneratealarge amount of exhaust gas and wastewater，which has a significant impact on environmental quality.Basedon the emission characteristicsof polutants duringtheoperationof incineration facilities，thisstudy explores the impactof polltants such as dioxins，heavy metals，and acidic gases onthe atmospheric environment，analyzes the impact mechanismof leachateand coling wateron the water environment，and takes corresponding measures to reducethe environmental impactofwasteincinerationfacilities.Theresults indicatethatpolutants emitedfrom incinerationfacilities will enter theenvironmental systemthroughatmosphericdepositionand surface runof，causing long-term impacts ontheregional ecological environment.Atpresent，itisnecessryto improvepolutioncontroltechnology，strengthenenvironmental monitoring，and efectively reduce theenvironmental impactof waste incineration facilities onthe atmosphere and water bodies.
