基于铁代谢的中药活性成分防治蒽环类药物心脏毒性的机制

[Abstract]Anthracyclines are the first-line treatment for cancer chemotherapyand playa significant role in significantly improving patients'survival rates.However,the isse of cardiotoxicitycaused by these drugs cannot be ignored.Currently,the mechanismofcardiotoxicityof these drugs isnotfullyunderstood.Inmanyrelated studies, abnormal ironmetabolism is regarded as oneof the important mechanisms.Specificaly,anthracyclinescanform chelation reactions with iron ions,thereby generating oxygen free radicals.These oxygen freeradicals can cause a series of damage effcts,such as inducing lipid peroxidation reactions in the myocardial cell membrane and damaging the mitochondrial DNAof the myocardium,ultimatelyleading tothedeath of myocardial cels.This article aims to review the research progress on the prevention and treatment of cardiotoxicity caused by anthracyclines through regulating the iron metabolism pathway by the active ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine.
