[Abstract] Objective: To explore the therapeutic effect anodal transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS)applied to premotor cortex (PMC) in patients with upper limb motor dysfunction after stroke.Method: A total 110 patients were selected fromBeijing Huimin Hospital (January 2O23 to December 2O24).Allpatients had upper limb motor dysfunction after stroke, and they were divided into the control group ( n =55,sham anodal tDCS over the PMC) and the study group ( n =55,anodal tDCS over the PMC) according to the random number table method. Both groups were treated for 6 weeks. The upper limb function, upper limb movement quality, and upper limb electromyography the two groups were compared, and the patients'daily living activities abilities was evaluated. Result: Afterthe treatment, the scoresdisabilitiesthearm, shoulderand hand(DASH) inboth groups decreased compared to before the treatment, and that in the study group was lower than that in the control group ( P <0.05). After the treatment, the Wolf motor function test (WMFT)scores both groups increased compared to before the treatment, and that in the study group was higher than that in the control group ( P <0.05).After the treatment, the integrated electromyographic (iEMG)values the deltoid and triceps brachii inboth groups increased compared to before the treatment, and those in the study group were higher than those in the control group ( P <0.05). After the treatment, the modified Barthel index (MBl) scores both groups increased compared to before the treatment, and that in the study group was higher than that in the control group ( P <0.05). Conclusion: For patients with upper limb motor dysfunction after stroke, improving upper limb function and motor quality can be achieved through anodal tDCS over the PMC,and this method is beneficial for the recovery upper limb electromyographic indicators and can also improve patients' daily living activities abilities.
