[Abstract] Objective： To explore the clinical efect of applying vacuum sealing drainage （VSD） combined with silver sulfate dressing in patients with stage 3 and 4 infected pressure injury wounds.Method：A total of 96 patients with stage 3 and 4 infected pressure injury wounds who were admitted to the First People's Hospital of Qinzhoufrom January 2O22 to January 2O24 were included. Using the computer-generated random sequence method， the research subjects were divided into two groups： the control group n =48， traditional perfusion irrigation） and the observation group （ n =48，VSD combined with silver sulfate dressing）.The growth time of fresh granulation tissue， wound healing time，pressure ulcer scale for healing （PUSH），inflammatory factor levels，quality of life （SF-36）， pain （VAS），and comfort between the two groups were compared.Result： The growth time of fresh granulation tissue and the wound healing time in the observation group were earlier than those in the control group （ P <0.05）. After7daysof treatment，the scores of each dimensionof PUSH inboth groups decreased compared to thosebefore treatment，and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group （ P <0.05）. After 7 days of treatment， the levels of IL-6，CRP and tumor necrosis factor- α in both groups decreased compared to those before treatment，and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group （ P <0.05）. After 7 days of treatment，the scores of eachdimension of the SF-36 inboth groups increased compared to those before treatment，and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group （ P <0.05）. After 7 days of treatment，the VAS scores of both groups were lower than those before treatment，and that of the observation group was lower than thatofthe control group，and thecomfort score of the dressing in the observation group was higher than that in the control group （P<0.05 ）. Conclusion： The combination of VSD and silver sulfate dressing is effective in controlling infections and promoting wound healing in stage 3and 4 infected pressre injury wounds，thereby improving the quality of life of patients.
