[Abstract] Objective： To explore the impact of Levetiracetam combined with Oxcarbazepine treatment on adult epilepsy patients.Method： A total of12O adult epilepsy patientsadmitted to Jingzhou Third People's Hospital from October 2022 to December 2024 were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table method，with 6Ocases in each group.The control group wastreated with Oxcarbazepine alone，while the observation group was treated with Levetiracetam in addition to the control group.The treatment course for both groups was 3 months.The clinical efficacy，electroencephalogram parameters，serum nerve factors，cognitive function and incidence of adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.Result： The total efective rate in the observation group was'higher than that in the control group （ P <0.05）. After 3 months of treatment，compared with the control group，the electroence phalogram spike index of the observation group was significantly lower，and the levels ofbrain-derived neurotrophic factor （BDNF），nerve growth factor （NGF），and the scoreof the Montreal cognitive

assessment scale （MoCA） were higher （P<0.05） .There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups （P>0.05） .Conclusion：Levetiracetam combined with Oxcarbazepine can effectively improve the abnormal electroencephalogram and cognitive function of adult patients with epilepsy， regulate the levels ofserum nerve factors，and improve the clinical efficacy，which has high safety.
