Abstract:Thecontinuousgrowthinnew energypowergenerationcapacityhassignificantlyincreasedthepeakregulation demandofpowersystems.Giventheinsufcientpeakregulationcapabilityofcoal-firedpowerunits,studyingtheconfiguration schemeofenergystoragesystemsparticipatingincoal-firedpowerpeakregulationisofgreatsignificance.Throughanalyzingthe impactofnewenergygridconectiononsystempeakregulation,acombinedpeakregulationsystemmodelofcoal-fired power andenergystorageisestablished,andenergystoragetechnologyselectionandpeakregulationcontrolstrategiesaredesigned. Basedonexperimentaldatafromatypicalpowerplant,anenergystoragecapacitycalculationmodelisconstructedandeconomic analysisisconducted,proposinganoptimizedconfigurationschemeforenergystoragesystemsconsideringmultipleconstraints. Experimentalresultsshowthatproperlyconfiguredenergystoragesystemscanefectivelyenhancethepeakregulationcapability of coal-fired power units and reduce system peak regulation costs.
