Abstract：Duringtheconstructionof temporary detourroads formountainousdam-crosing highways，thecomplexgeological conditions，steperainandfrequentumanactivitiescaneasilyrigerdisasterssuchaslandslides，colsesunstablerocals， anddebrisflows，posingthreatstoconstructionsafetyandafectingprojetschedules.Inthiscontext，thispapertakesateporary detourroadprojectforamountainousdam-crossnghighwayinthesouthwesternregionastheresearchsubjectBasedongeological andgeomorphologicalsurveyswithriskassessmentsintheprojectarea，thispaperanalyzesthecausesofpotentialgeological hazardsuringconstruction，evaluatestherisksandtieredcontrolmeasuresforsuchhazards.Asafetyriskmanagementplanfor geologicalhazardsisdesignedfromtheperspectivesoforganizationalsafeguards，hazardidentificationtechnicalmeasures，and qualityspervision.Theresearchfindingsareexpectedtoprovideareferenceforsimilarconstructionsafetymanagementpractices.
