Abstract:Theecologicalrestorationofhigh-steeprockslopesisacomprehensiveengineringendeavorthatintegrates multiplefactorsanddisciplines,includinggeology,vegetation,ecology,andclimate.Thispaperpresentsacasestudyonthe ecologicalrestorationpracticeofabuildingstonequarryslopeinXinhuiDistrict,JiangmenCityToadressciticalchalenges suchasthelackofsoilsubstrate,waterandnutrientdeficiencies,andtheweakself-sustainingcapacityofvegetation communitiesonthesehigh-steeprockslopes,acombinedmethodemployingecologicalbagsandthethick-layersubstrate sprayingtechniquewasadopted.Theresearchinvolvedstudiesandinovationsintherestorationmethodology.Thisapproach demonstratessignificantadvantages:itachieveshighrestorationeficiencyandvegetationcoverage,leadstotheformationofa stablesoilsubstrate,andfostersaself-sustainingvegetationcommunity.Thefindingscanserveasavaluabletechnicalreference for the ecological restoration of similar high-steep rock slopes.
