Abstract：Theecologicalrestorationofhigh-steeprockslopesisacomprehensiveengineringendeavorthatintegrates multiplefactorsanddisciplines，includinggeology，vegetation，ecology，andclimate.Thispaperpresentsacasestudyonthe ecologicalrestorationpracticeofabuildingstonequarryslopeinXinhuiDistrict，JiangmenCityToadressciticalchalenges suchasthelackofsoilsubstrate，waterandnutrientdeficiencies，andtheweakself-sustainingcapacityofvegetation communitiesonthesehigh-steeprockslopes，acombinedmethodemployingecologicalbagsandthethick-layersubstrate sprayingtechniquewasadopted.Theresearchinvolvedstudiesandinovationsintherestorationmethodology.Thisapproach demonstratessignificantadvantages：itachieveshighrestorationeficiencyandvegetationcoverage，leadstotheformationofa stablesoilsubstrate，andfostersaself-sustainingvegetationcommunity.Thefindingscanserveasavaluabletechnicalreference for the ecological restoration of similar high-steep rock slopes.
