Abstract:The hydraulic locking mechanismofthepontoon-typeinner turret single-point mooring system playsanimportant roleinthedecouplingandreconnectionoftheFPSO.Itsworkingenvironmentiscomplexandinvolvesmanydesignconditions andstandards.This paperstudies the loadson theFPSOinthe marineenvironmentanditsmotionresponse.Accordingto relevantspecifications,designproceduresandmethods,fatigueanalysisanddesignofthelockingmechanismofthesingle-point mooringsystemappliedinacertainseaareaiscariedout,whichcanbeusedasareferenceforthedesignofrelated equipment.
