Abstract: The design scale of a sewage treatment plant in Nansha New Area is 3.0×104m3/d .The effluent water standard implementsthestrictervaluesofthenationalstandardGB3838-2002"SurfaceWaterEnvironmentalQualityStandards”ClassV waterstandardandthenational standardGB18918-20O2"Discharge StandardofPolutantsfor Municipal WastewaterTreatment Plants" Class A standard(except for TN⩽15mg/L ),and the factory moisture content of sludge is reduced to 40% .The main processofthesewageplantadoptstheimprovedCASSprocesstheadvancedtreatmentadoptsthehig-eficiencysedimentation tank + denitrificationdeep-bedfilterprocess,thedisinfectionmethodadoptscontactdisinfection,thedisinfectantusessodium hypochlorite,andthesludge dryingadoptssludgeconcentration pluslow-temperaturevacuum dehydration drying process.The operationoneyearaftercompletionshowsthattheprojetisoperatingwellandtheefluent waterqualtyisstableandupto standard.ThemainindicatorsarebetterthanthenationalstandardGB3838-20O2ClassIVwaterstandard.Atthesametime, the sludge reduction is achieved.
