Construction of Virtual Cultural Space in Game Art

Abstract:Inthecontemporarycontextwheredigitaltechnologyprofoundlyintervenesinculturalproduction,virtualcultural spacehasbecomethecorecarrerofcultural expresionforgameart.Taking miHoYosHnkai: StarRailasacasestudy,thispaper exploreshowgameart jointlyconstructsculurallymeaningfulvirtual spaesthroughnarativestructures,visualsymbolsandplaer practices.Thestudyfindsthatthegamebreakstroughthelogicoflineartimeandspacewithitsmultidimensionaluniversearchitecture,realizesthedigitaltranslatinoftradioalimageryviascenedesign,anditsross-culturalsymbolsnotonlysowtedencies towardintegrationbutalsoexhibitculturaltensions.Playersparticipateinthereproductionof meaningthroughrole-playingand communityco-creation,therebydynamicallshapingthevirtual space.Thisstudyaims toreveal thethinking pathsopenedupby gameartasanewformofculturalpracticeattheintersectionof technologyandaesthetics,andfurtherenvisionsitspotentialin promoting cultural dialogue and spiritual exploration in the context of globalization.
