The Moral Education Value and Educational Enlightenment of Yuan Huang' s “Liming (Establishing Destiny)” Thought from the Perspective of Fostering Virtue Through Education

Abstract:The“Liming”thoughtintraditionalChineseethicalthoughthasevolvedfrom“JingtianShunming(reveringheavenandacceptingdestiny)”to“XiushenLiming(uliatingoneself tostablishdestiy)”,andthnto“ZixingLiming(stablishingdstiyough knowledgeandaction)”.YuanHuang’s“Liming”thoughtinheritstradionalChineseethicalthoughtandproposestheconepthat “MingYouJuo(destinisshapedbyoneself)”,emphasizigthatintrospectionandself-cultivationarethstartingpointof“Liing", while“JishanXingde”(accumulatigvirtueandperforminggooddeds)formthecoreof“Liming”.In-depthstudyofYuan Huang’s“Liming"thoughtevealsitsoralducatiovaluendprovdespracticallighteentfortevelopentofdeologicalandlialduca tioninthenera:stregthingstuents’subjectiveonsioussspromotingthitegatiooforalducatioadpracticiliating collaborativeeducationamong families,schoolsandsociety,andcombiningtraditional culturewith thespiritofthe times.
