Abstract:Emergingeconomiesenterprisesacquireoverseasresourcesthoughcrossbordermergersandacquistions,viewingitas a"springboardfortheir globalizationstrategy.Byreshapingandintegrating theexistingsuplychainsystem,theygraduallyform aglobalsupplychainsystem.ThearticleselectsthelongitudinalcaseofGeelyscontinuouscross-bordermergersandacquisitions toexplore howGeelyhastransformeditssupplychain fromfivestagesofrawmaterial procurement,component productin,vehiclemanufacturing,warehousingandtransportationandsalesandservice,andhowithasimplementedfiveintegrationstrategiesof managementitegrationfoationintegatio,&Diegratioulturalintegationdansourceintegiotv strategicintegrationandoptimizationofthesupplychain,ultimatelycreatingsupplychainvaluefromthreeaspectsofsupply chain extension, supply chain diffusion, and supply chain complementarity.
