Abstract：Asoneof themosteconomicallydynamicregionsinChinaoptimizing thefreight structureof Guangdong Provinceis crucial foritseconomicdevelopment.BasedonthefreightcompositiondataofGuangdongProvincefrom2003to2022，thispaper appliestegreyrelationalanalysismethodtoexaminethecorrlationbetweentotalfreightvolumeanditsintemalstructure.The resultsshowthathighwayfreighthasthegreatestimpactonthetotalfreightvolume，folowedbywaterwaytransportwithair， pipeline，andrailwaytransporthavingrelativelyloweriuene.Basedontheidentifiedissuesintecurrntfreightsructure，tis paper proposes recommendations for structural adjustment and optimization.
