[Abstract]ObjectiveTo investigate the awarenessof thecore knowledgeof tumor preventionandtreatmentamong thecitizens in Qingdao，Chinaandrelatedinfluencingfactors.MethodsFromApril202OtoDecember 2023，anonlinequestionaire survey was conducted on the core knowledge of tumor prevention and treatment among Qingdao citizens aged 15-74 yearsusing the methodofconveniencesampling，andastatisticalanalysis was performed.ResultsAtotalof 208267citizens were surveyed，with206275validquestioaires.Theoverallawareness rateoftheknowledgeofcancerpreventionandtreatmentwas 82.64% .There wasasignificantdifferenceintheawarenessrateof the knowledgeof tumor preventionand treatmentbetween the individuals withdiferentsexes，ages，placesofresidence，educationallevels，maritalstatuses，occupations，personalhealthstatu ses，smoking habits，and previous histories of tumor screening （X2=1126.43-178780.35，P<0.05）/ Living in rural areas （ OR= 0.727，P<0.05 ）and divorce/widowhood （OR=0.487，P<0.05） were the factors for the reduction in awareness，while an age of 35-54 years ⟨OR=1.684，P<0.05⟩ ，an educational level at or above senior high school （ ⋅OR=4.196-15.674，P<0.05） ，an occupation of civil servants and staff of public institution （OR=2.439，P<0.05） ，and participation in tumor screening ⟨OR=1.276 ， P<0.05 ）were thefactors fortheincrease inawarenessConclusionThereisarelativelyhighawareness rateofthecoreknowledgeoftmorpreventionandtreatmentamongQingdaocitizesutitistillneededtocontinuouslyimprovetheawarensofthe knowledge of tumor prevention and treatment in the key populations and regions.
