[Abstract]ObjectiveToinvestigate whethertherearepainhypersensitivityanddepresion-likebehaviorsinamousemodel ofParkinson’sdisease(PD)establishedbyinducingunilaterallesionof thecorpusstriatumusing6-hydroxydopamine(6-OHDA). MethodsAtotalof17C57BL/6mice,aged7weeks,wererandomlydivided intocontrolgroup(injected with normal saline)and model group (injected with 6-OHDA),and the method of stereotactic injection was used to inject 2μL of normal saline or 2.5g/L 6-OHDAintotheleftcorpus striatum.After2 weeks,theVonFreytest,thetail suspensiontest,andtheforced swimming test were performed to measure the 50% hind paw withdrawal threshold and the percentage of immobility time.ResultsThe von Frey test showed that compared with the control group,the model group had a significant reduction in 50% hind paw withdrawal threshold and showed pain hypersensitivity ζt=6.854 , P<0.001 ).Thetail suspension test and the forced swimming test showed thatcompared with thecontrol group,the model group hada significant increase in the percentageofimmobility time( t=3.828 , 2.958, P<0.05 ).ConclusionPain hypersensitivityand depression-like behaviors are observed in a mouse model of PD established by inducing unilateral lesion of the corpus striatum using 6-OHDA.
