[Abstract]ObjectiveToinvestigate the eficacyof percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic discectomy（PTED）in the treatmentoflumbardischerniation（LDH）．MethodsTheclinical dataof8 patients withLDHwhohadundergonePTEDin ourhospitalfromJanuary2O23toApril2O24wereretrospectivelyanalyzed.Thepatientswerefollwedupfor6monthspostoperatively.Theywereevaluatedfor pain inthelow back and legs using thevisualanalogscale（VAS）andforlumbarspine function usingtheOswestryDisabilityIndex（ODI beforesurgeryandat3days，3months，and6monthsaftersurgery.Theefficacyof the treatment was evaluatedacording tothe modified MacNabcriteriaat6monthsaftersurgery.ResultsTheVASscoreandODI ofthepatientswere significantlydecreasedat3days，3months，and6monthsaftersurgery，compared withthosebefore surgery 0 ⋅F=787.705-1398.469 ， P<0.05 ）. The VAS score and ODI were significantly lower at 3 months than at 3 days after surgery （ ）and significantly lower at 6 months than at 3 months after surgery（ ΔP<0.05Δ .At6 months after surgery，the outcome bymodifiedMacNabevaluationwas excelentin34cases，goodin45cases，feasiblein7cases，andporin2cases，withanexcellent/good rate of 89.77% .ConclusionPTED is effective and safe for the treatment of LDH，which can effectively relieve pain and improve lumbar function.
