【Abstract】With the rapid development of the new energyvehicle industry,the electric drive system as its core component,itsperformanceand reliabilityhaveadecisiveimpactonthe vehicleperformance.Asakeycomponent in the electricdrivesystem,theDC-Link capacitor isresponsibleforsmoothing voltage fluctuationsand filtering out highfrequencynoise,anditsthermalmanagementiscriticaltothestabilityandlifeofthesystem.Thispaperpresentsa methodof DC-Link capacitive thermal simulationanalysisof electric drive system basedon Matlab,Q3Dand Icepak. Firstly,thecircuit simulationiscarriedoutusing Matlab todeterminetheworkingstateandcorelossparametersof the capacitor.Then,theelectromagneticfield simulationiscarriedoutbyQ3Dsoftware toobtain theelectromagnetic lossof capacitorcopperbar.Finally,combined with Icepak,thermal simulation iscarriedout toanalyze the temperature distributionand heatflowpathof thecapacitor.This study notonly providesatheoretical basis fortheselectionof DCLink capacitors,but also provides an effective solution for the thermal management of electric drive systems.
