Abstract：Colorisacrucial element in humanperceptionofthe world，holdingauniquepositionincultural inheritanceand artisticexpresion.Traditionalcolorcultureisthecognitive，preference，andapplicationmethodsofcolorsformedbyanation over a long historical development process，rich in cultural connotationsand aesthetic value.This paper aims toexplore the inheritanceand innovationof traditionalcolorcultureinmodern graphicdesign.Itfirstanalyzes theconnotationsandvalues oftraditionalcolorculture，thendiscussesitsinheritance methodsinmodermgraphicdesign，includingdirectuseoftraditional colors and referencing traditional colorcoordinationconcepts.Next，it explores innovative approaches，suchascombining modernaesthetics withtechnologicalmeans.Finallthroughcase studies，it demonstrates theimportanceand feasibility of inheritingand innovating traditionalcolorculture in modern graphicdesign，aiming to providevaluablereferences for contemporary graphic design.
