Abstract：Asacoremediumforearlychildhoodliteracy，picturebooks transend linguisticandculturalbariers throughtheir integratedvisualstorytelingartistryearningwidespreadpopularityamongchildren.Inthisvisuallanguage，colorsrsasa vitalmediumforemotionaltransmisionileplainganieplaceableoleinnarrativeprogessionandcotextualonstruction. This study analyzes thecolor expresion characteristicsand thematic structural patrsofclassic picture books，revealing theirintrinsicconectionthroughthreepathways：emotionalresonance，symbolicmetaphor，andrhythmicmodulation.Trough casestudiesof "The JungleBook"and "The Very Hungry Caterpillr"，thisresearch furtherdemonstrates color'saesthetic andeducationalvalueinpicturebook naratives.The findings provide theoretical supportand practicalreferencesforvisual communicationdesign inpicture book creation，whileoffering innovative approaches tooptimizeearlychildhoodreading resources.
