Extractionof Environmental Colors from the Dongchuan Red Earth and Research on Seasonal Color Matching Schemes

Abstract：Naturalenvironmentalcolorisacoreelementofregionalvisualidentity.Scientificallextractingandquantifying it isofgreatsignificanceforculturalheritagepreservation，egionalimagebuldingandesigninovation.Thissudytakigthe unique naturallandscapeofDongchuanRedEarth inYumanasacasestudy，employsacolorgeographyresearchparadigmand combines fieldsampling withdigitaltools tosystematicallyexplore thecompositionandseasonal evolutionof itsenvironmental color.Theresults show that thecolor system of DongchuanRedEarth has astrong seasonal identity.Its colorcompositionis notonlyderived from theinherentredcolorof thesoil butisalsodynamicallyinfluenced byenvironmentalfactorssuch ascrop rotation，skyiluminationanddistantmountainvegetation.Thisstudyevelopsamethodfortranslatingnaturalenviroents intoapplicablecolorschemes.Theresultscanprovideprecise，scientificdatasupportandaestheticbasis forcolorstrategies in environmental design， visual communication， and cultural tourism products.
