Abstract：Our countryataches great importance to the protection of intangiblecultural heritage.Asanimportantcultural carier，teuniquecolors，patesandshapesoftraditionaloperacostumesconstitutethecorevisualsymbols，howtoeffectively inherit theessenceof theculture，whileachieving innovative development，has becomeanurgent problem tobe solved. Therefore，fromtheperspectiveofintangibleculturalheritageprotection，thispaperdiscussestheinheritanceandinovation pathofopera costumeelements inthe Visualcommunication，thispaper puts forwardinovativeinheritance methods fromthree dimensions：colorandculturaltranslation，formReconstructionandtechnologyapplication，mingtoprovidepracticalernce for the living inheritance of opera costume culture.
