Abstract：Duringtheoperationof thermalautomationsystemsinthermalpowerplants，theDCScontrolsystemhasbecome akeysupportforealizingintellgentproductionmanagementduetoitshghlyintegratedflexibleandscalablecharacteristics. Thispaperanalyzesthepractical applicationofDCScontrolsysteminthermalpowerplants，focusingondiscussng thesystem compositionanditsappicationstrategiesinkeycontrollinks，andputsforwardsuggestionssuchascontrollogicoptiizatinnd equipmentqualityassuranceforthereliabityofsystemoperation，inordertoensurethestableoperationofthermalpower plants，improveenergyutlizationefciencyandpromoteinteligentmanagementandcontrolofpowerplants，providingstrong support for the construction of smart power plants in the future.
