Abstract：Inviewofthecommon problemsinruraldomesticsewage treatment，suchaslowcolectionrate，chaotic governancesystem，andinadequateoperationandmaintenance，intheNanshaRuralDomesticSewageTreatmentProjectexploring newideasandpracticesforwaterontrolfromtop-leveldesign，constructionplan，projectmanagement，digitaloperatioand maintenanceaspectshaveefectivelypromotedtheimplementationoftheproject，ensuredtheprojectefectandqualityand improvedthelevelofoperationandmaintenance.Sincetheimplementationoftheproject，theruralsewagecolectionratein Nansha District has exceeded 85 % ，the living environment has been significantly improved，the sewage facilities built have been wellmaintainedandmanaged，andthemanagementhasachievedremarkableresults.InNovember2O2O，NanshaDistrictwas selected asa national rural domestic sewage treatment demonstration county （city，district）.
