Abstract:Aiming attheproblem that themeasurementerorofthewhelset measuring machineincreasesduetothe inconsistencyofthewheelsetaxlediameterandwheeldiameter,themeasuringmachineisimprovedbyadinganimage detectiondevicetoasstinjudgingwhetherthewheelsetisraisedinplace,andthewhelsettreaddefectdetectionbasedon imagerecognitioniscariedout.Adaptivemedianfilteringandadaptivegammatransformalgorithmwereusedtoimproveimage preprocessing.ThetraditionaledgedetectionalgorithmwasoptimizedbyintroducingtheOtsualgorithmtoadaptivelydetermine thresholdsandadoptingtheScharroperatorforgadientcalculation,whichstrengthenedgradientesponsesindagonaldirectios. Thetestresultsshowthattheaddedimagedetectiondeviceimprovestheacuracyofwheelsetlifting positionandthe establishedimagerecognitionalgorithmhasexcelentperformanceindenoising,imageenhancement,edgedetectionanddamage recognition,ichefectivelyovercomesthdefectsoftraditionalalgoritsandsignificantlyiprovestheaccuracyandrelibility ofwheeltreadpeeecognition.Itprovidesmorefcientandreliabletechnicalsupportfortrainwheelsettreadpelingdetection.
