Abstract:Ashistoricalandculturalheritagefacesthreatssuchasnaturalerosionandman-madedestructiondigital protectionmethodsbecomeincreasinglycrtical.Thisresearch focusesontheappicationof3Dlaserscanningtechnologyin multi-scaledigitalprotectionofhistoricalandculturalheritage.Throughcaseanalysis,literatureresearchandothermethods，we deeplyanalyzetheadvantagesof3Dlaserscaningtechnologyinnon-contactandhigh-precisioninthefieldofdigital protectionofculturalheritage，andemonstrateteapplicationresultsofthistechnologycombinedwithactualdigitalprotection casesof ancientbuildings.Theresearchresultsshowthat3Dlaserscaningtechnologyefectivelymeetsthenedsofmulti-scale digitalprotectionofhistoricalandculturalheritage，andprovidesstrongsupportforsiteresearch，buildingrestoration，cultural relicsdisplay，etc.thusefectivelyavoidingthedamagecausedbycontactmeasurementofancientbuildingsandthe requirementsforhigh-precisionandmulti-dimensionaldataresultsandprovidingtheoreticalandpracticalreferenceforcultural heritage protection.
