Abstract:The time-segmentedstormwaterandsewage diversion system representsanovel aproach proposed inrecentyears. Thisresearchinvestigatesconceptualframeworkandimplementationpathwaysoftime-segmentedstormwaterandsewage,evaluates itsopertionalhealth,identifescoreinfrastructurecomponents,andconductscologicalcapacityasessments.UsingNanchong areacase in NanshaDistrict asavalidationbenchmark,findings demonstrate:Thetime-segmented stormwaterand sewage achievessignificanttreatmenteficacy,establishinganewparadigmforurbanwaterenvironmenttreatmentinChina;Polutant concentrationsatdrainageoutletsexhibitiitialerosionectsundervaryingrainfallconditionsandpolutantlevelsiseiniialy duringrainfallbutdeclinegraduallshowingminimalfluctuationsinlaterstages;Thetime-segmentedstormwaterandsewage demonstratesstrongcompatibilitywithpolutantcharacteristicsfromdrainageoutlets,providingtheoreticalfoundationsfor implementing time-segmented diversion systems.
