Abstract：The time-segmentedstormwaterandsewage diversion system representsanovel aproach proposed inrecentyears. Thisresearchinvestigatesconceptualframeworkandimplementationpathwaysoftime-segmentedstormwaterandsewage，evaluates itsopertionalhealth，identifescoreinfrastructurecomponents，andconductscologicalcapacityasessments.UsingNanchong areacase in NanshaDistrict asavalidationbenchmark，findings demonstrate：Thetime-segmented stormwaterand sewage achievessignificanttreatmenteficacy，establishinganewparadigmforurbanwaterenvironmenttreatmentinChina;Polutant concentrationsatdrainageoutletsexhibitiitialerosionectsundervaryingrainfallconditionsandpolutantlevelsiseiniialy duringrainfallbutdeclinegraduallshowingminimalfluctuationsinlaterstages；Thetime-segmentedstormwaterandsewage demonstratesstrongcompatibilitywithpolutantcharacteristicsfromdrainageoutlets，providingtheoreticalfoundationsfor implementing time-segmented diversion systems.
