Abstract：Cultivating high-qualitypostgraduates to make themanimportant forcein promoting theeconomicandsocial developmentofthecountyandlocalitieshasbecomeasocialresponsibilityandhistoricalmissonthataplication-orientedlocal colegesanduniversitiesmustundertakeatthepresentstage.Therefore，itisaninevitabletrendtoestablishapostgraduate trainingmodelthatisinlinewitheonomicandsocialdevelopmentandenablesthepostgraduatestotrulyposessprofesional practicalandinnovativeablities.Inthispaper，basedonthobjectiveanalysisofthelimitationsoftraditionalgraduatetraiing modelandtheproblemsofappiedlocalcollges‘graduateeducation，combiningtheactualsituationofgraduateeducatioat DatongUniversityinShanxiProvincewiththeregionalsocio-economiccharacteristics，weanalyzedtheimportanceofthejoint trainingfromtheaspectsofimprovingthelevelofteachingstaff，resourcesharingandsoon.Meanwhile，weexpoundedthe constructionandimplementationplanofthegraduatejointtrainingmodel，anddiscusedthequalityasessmentofgraduate training toa certain extent.
