Abstract：Virtual simulationexperiment teachingisanimportantpartof thepractical teachingsysteminlocal aplicationorienteduniversities.Itisanimportantmeanstodeepenstudentsunderstandingofprofesionalknowledge，improvetheir professionalpracticalskillsandcultivatehigh-qualityapliedinnovativetalents.BasedontheconstructionpracticeofGuangdong CivilEngineeringVirtualSimulationExperimentalTeachingCenterofDonuan UniversityofTechnology，thispapercaiesout theconstructionofcivilengineeringvirtualsimulationexperimentalteachingcenterfromtheaspectsofteambuilding，hardware platform，experimentalteachingsystem，personneltrainingmode，managementsystem，operationmechanismandqualtyassurance. Avirtualsimulationexperimentalteachingsystemof"onecenter，threelevelsandfourmodules"hasbeenbuilt，including13 experimental systemsand72 experimental projects，which hasachievedgood teachingandscientificresearch results.
