Abstract：Thespiritualconnotationofexcellnttraditional Chinesecultureishighlycompatiblewiththeconceptof ideologicalandpoliticaleducationinthenewera：theirtheoreticalcontentisinterconnected，theireducationalgoalsare consistent，andtheymutuallpromoteeachotherinpractice.Itisconducivetoshapingagoodvalueorientationforcolege students，formingastrongculturalatmosphereinuniversties，andpromotingculturalconfidenceinthewholesociety.Thereare stillsortcomingsintepromotionofexelenttrditionalChinesecultureinteonstructionofshoolcollaborativemehanisms， theconstructionof teachertalentteams，theplayofstudentsubjectivity，andtheguidanceandeducationofonlineideological andpoliticaleducation.Weshouldpersisttothethreeprinciplesofideologicalguidance，practicalducation，andsystematic construction，andfurtherplaytheimportantroleofexcelenttraditionalChinesecultureinimprovingtheefectivenessof ideological and political education in universities.
