Abstract：Inthecontextofthenewengineringdisciplines，itisbothanurgentandalong-termtask tocultivateadiverse andinnovativegroupofoutstandingengineeringandtechnologytalents.Facedwiththerealitythattraditionaleducationmodelsin engineeringcanotadapttothenewnomalofeducationalreforms，howtoinnovateteachingmethods，adjustteachingstrategies， andenhanceteachingqualityhasbecomeacommonchallengefortraditionalengineeringdisciplines，suchashydraulic engineringconstruction.TakingthecourseofHydraulicEngineeringConstructionasanexample，throughin-depthanalysisof thecharacteristicsandcurrentsituationofthecourse，acomprehensivediscussonontheinnovationoftheteachingmodelfor hydraulicengineeringconstructioncoursesisconducted.Tisinnovationisprimarilybasedonadvancededucationalconceptssuch ascolaborativeeducationandproblem-orientededucation.Ateaching-asessment-practiceintegratedemployment-oriented educationmodelisproposed，withteachingasthesupprt，asessmentasthemeans，practiceasthepath，andemployentas Theultimategoal.ThepromotionofthismodelwillfurterstimulatethereformofeducationandteachinginHydraulic Enginering Constructioncourses，providingbeneficialguidanceandreferenceforrelevantprofessionalteacherstoimprovethe qualityof course teaching and meet the talent development needs in thecontextof thenew enginering disciplines.
