[Abstract] Objective: Itaims to explore the biomechanical characteristics ofknee joint muscle strength in students majoring inWushu routine.It analyzes the main isues in the development of knee joint flexionand extension muscle strength.Methods: Using literature review,testing methods,and mathematical statistical methods,the IsoMed20oO isokinetic muscle strength testing training system was employed to test the muscle strength tests on the bilateralknee jointsof18 students majoring in Wushuroutineat Shenyang Sports Universitywithangularvelocities of 60∘/s , 180% ,and 240∘/s respectively. Conclusion: At an angular velocity of 240∘/s ,students majoring in Wushu routines have alower kneejoint flexion extension ratio,indicating insuficientrapid strength of the kneejoint flexor muscle groupanda risk of sports injuries; The diference in muscle strength between theleft andright sides of the knee joint is less than 10% ,indicating a relatively balanced development. Suggestion: Students majoring in Wushu routines should pay atention to developing the strength ofthe knee joint flexor and extensor muscles in theirdailytraining to ensurethe balance of kneejoint flexor and extensor muscle strength,maintain the stabilityof the knee joint during routine exercises,andachievethegoalof preventing sports ijuries.Aditionaly,infuture strengthtraining,individual screning students specialized in Wushu routines should be strengthened,and scientific strength compensation training  programs should be developed for students with significant differences in muscle strength between the left and right knees joint.
