AbstractRobot-asistedpancreaticoduodenectomy (RPD)hasemergedasaoneofthemostfavoredsurgcalapproachsforpancreaticoduodenectomy(PD)inrecentyears.DuetotheproceduralcomplexityandprolongedlearnigcurveofRPD,strategies tosorten thetrainingcycleandehancearly-phasesurgicalsafetyhavebcomecriticalchalengesinclinicaleducation.Curentlyasedon theexperieneofthe UniversityofPitsburgh,proficiency-basedstructuredtraining programshavebeenestablished.Theseprograms mainlyincludevialality(R)iulatiomodles,o-liingsesiulatioussuicalvidebedtrngtaie mentoringandcontinuous fedback loops.Results haveshownthatsuch training programscan help next-generationsurgeonsreducethe learmingcurvewhileenhancingthesafetyandeficacyofRPD.Futureoptimizations may includecaseselectionstratifiedbycomplexity dual-consolecolaboratietaiing,Dvirtualmodlingandugmentedralitynavigatio.Thisviewprovdesanovevieoftt training programs of RPD, offering insights for the development of future training curriculum.
