Application of intelligent medical assistive technology in the prevention and rehabilitation of postoperative lymphedema in breast cancer

AbstractObjective：Toinvestigateteefiacyofinteligent medicalasistivetechnologyinthepreventionandrehabilitationof postoperativelympedemainbreastcancer.Methods：82patientswhoreceivedinteligentmedical-asistedlymphedemaprevention andrehabilitatiostrategiesafterbeastcancrsurgeryatteDeparmentofBreastSrgerytestAfliatedHospitalofiroe MedicalUniversityfromJuly2021toDecember2O23wereenroledastheobservationgroup.78patientswhoreeivedconventional nursing managementfromJanuary2019 to June2O21wereselectedasthecontrolgroup.Lymphedemaknowledgelevel，preventive behaviors，lymphedemaincidence，complication/readmisionrates，and patientsatisfaction werecomparedbetweenthetwo groups. Results： Both groups showed improved lymphedema knowledge and preventive behaviors postoperatively （ P <0.05），and higher scores at 3 months after surgery were observed in the observation group （ P<0.05 .The observation group had lower lymphedema incidence， complication rates，and readmission rates versus the control group （P<0.05） . In addition，the satisfaction levels of the observation groupinserviceatitude，rehabilitationguidane，informationcommunicationandoverallevaluationwerehigherthanthosenthe control group （P<0.05） ，though satisfaction of treatment efficacy showed no significant diference between the two groups （ P> 0.05）. Conclusion：Inteligent medical systemscomprehensivelymanaging breastcancer patientsaftersurgerycan enhance lymphedema knowledge and preventive behaviors，reduce lymphedema incidence，and improve patient satisfaction.
