Application of hand-supply integration combined with risk management in the reprocessing of Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical instruments

AbstractObjective:To evaluate the application effectof hand-supply integration combinedwith risk managementinthe reprocessingofDa VinciXiroboticsurgicalinstruments.Methods:Atotalof140OsetsofDaVinciXirobticsurgicalinstruments fromDecember2O2toFebruaryO24attheFirstAfiliatedHospitalofirForceMedicalUniversitywereselectedasstudysamples, with70OsetsfromDecember2O22toJuly2023assignedtothecontrolgroup(managedwithhand-supplyintegration)and70sets fromAugust2O23toFebruary2O24tothestudygroup(managedwithhand-supplyintegrationcombinedwithrisk management). Theefectivenssofeaageentodelasesedyoparindeectatesfunctioalqualityorndstaftisactio Results:Comparedwiththecontrolgroup,thestudygrouphadsignificantlylowerdefectratesinincorrctinstrumentcounts,mising accessories,specification mismatches,functional failures,and failure to provide traceability codes ( P <0.05). Functional quality scores of surgicalinstrumentsandstaffsatisfaction were significantly higherinthestudy group thanthoseinthecontrol group( P <0.05). Additionally,thestudygroupshowedsignificantlylowerrates ofsurgical-relatednosocomial infectionsandcomplications( P <0.05). Conclusion:Thecombined strategyofhand-supply integrationandrisk managementcanefectivelyreduce instrumentfailurerates, enhancemanagement eficiency,improvestaffsatisfactionandpatientsafetywhichisworthyofclinicalpromotion.
