Application of the transtheoretical model ofbehavior change in postoperative care for robot-assisted total knee arthroplasty

AbstractObjective:Toexplorethvalueoftheranstheoreticalodel(T)ofehaviorchangeinpostoperatiecareforobotistd totalkneearthroplasty(RA-KA).Methods:6OpatientswhunderwentRA-KAatNanjingFirstHospitalfromJauary21toMarch 2024 wererandomlydividedintothestudygroup(n=3O,receivingTTM-basednursing added toroutie nursing)andthecontrolgroup ( n =30,receivingroutine nursing)usingarandomumbertable.Bothgroupsreceived3-monthintervention.ExerciseofSelf-care Agency Scale (ESCAS)oseefuci(Asedoge)hicalatusalityflfdliatiose betwenthetworoupsofatients.Results:AfterinterventionESCASsoresincreasedinbothgoups,withigherimprovents inthestudygroup(P<0.05).AKSSscoresandkneeflexionofpatientsinthetwogroupswerebothimprovedafter1and3monthsof intervention, with greater gains in the study group (P<0.05) . Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia (TSK-11), SDS,and VAS scores decreased more significantly in the study group, while rehabilitation adherence and GQOLI-74 scores increased ( P <0.05). The study group had lower complication rates than the control group (P<0.05) . Conclusion: TTM can enhance self-care ability,improve knee function,psychological status,and quality of life of patients undergoing RA-TKA while reducing complications.
