Total robotic resection of ascending duodenal gastrointestinal stromal tumor with anastomosis using a tubular stapler： a case report （with surgical video）

AbstractInJune224，apatientwithobesityandascendingduodenalgastrointestinaltromaltumor（GIST）wasadmittedtothe DepartmentofGastroitestinalSurgeryXiangyangCentralHospitalAfiliatedtoHubeiUiversityofArtsandSience.Totalobotic resectionoftheascendingduodenalGISTwithanastomosisusingatubularstaplerwereperfomedbyourteam.Theoperativetimewas 190min（including3Ominforobotdockingand6Oinforroboticoperation）withintraoperativebloodlossofappoximatel1L. Postoperativeuppergastrointestinalcontrast examinationshowednostenosisorcontrastageutleakage.Theresultsconfiredthat totalroboticresectionoftheascendingduodenalGSTwithanastomosisusingatubularstaplerissafeandfeasible，providingclinical experience for surgical approach selection in GIST at special anatomical sites.
