Initial experience and literature review of robot-assisted pediatric pancreatic tumor resection

AbstractObjectieTosummarizetheinitialexperieneofrobot-asistedpediatricpancreatictumresectioandtocondctaelated literaturereview.Methods:4childrenwhounderwentrobt-asistedpancreatictumorresectionatteDeparmentofPediatricSurgeryof theAfiliatedHspitalofGuzouMedicalUnivesityfromJunetoJanuary2wreeledTebasicdataliicalidicatosd postoperativesultsofthdereoltddalydtrosptiely.iteatuesardinubd,Ifg VIPdatabases using the keywords“机器人”“胰腺肿瘤”“儿童”“robot”“pancreatic tumor”and“children”.9articles were finallincuddsedsiodusioeultAllsurgeeeufullopedioutoves laparotomy. The operative times were 395 min, 360min 320min ,and 175min ,with the intraoperative blood loss of 50 mL,120 mL,120 mL,and 15mL ,along with the postoperative hospitalization time of 1O d,11 d, 13d ,and 8d, respectively. No postoperative complications werefoud.Postoperatiepatolgyofiedlowdealgnantpanceaticsolidpseudopapillryumosinall4chden.Folloupfor over8onthssdreuceodingtohlieratureie9sesereicded,sesofcherepaceaticsolid pseudopapillary tumors and 4 were insulinomas.Operative times ranged from 65 min to 480min ,intraoperative blood loss ranged from5 mL to 10mL ,andpostoperativehospitalstaysangedfrom6dto19d.2patients experienceddelayed gastricemptyingandintestinalstruction postoperatively. Conclusion: Robot-assisted pediatric pancreatic tumor resection is safe and feasible.
