A Review of Xu Fu Cultural Studies in China and Japan

Abstract：TheXuFuDongduincidenthasalwaysbeenahottopicofconcernintheacademiccirclesofChinaandJapan.Since the198Os，theacademiccirclesinChinaandJapanhave madesignificantprogressithestudyofXuFuculure.Inrecentyears，the studyofXuFucultureinChinaandJapanhasgraduallyshownamultidisciplinaryandmulti-perspectiveresearchtrend.Scholars haveconductedresearchfromheperspectivesoffolklore，culturalsudies，andmaritiehistoryndhveachievedmanycellnt researchesults.However，thcurrentacademicommunityssortingandintegrationofthaboveesearchsituationisotsfient. Thisarticleintends tocombthroughresearch materialsonXuFuinChinaandJapansincethe198Os，analyzethedevelopmentof Xu （2号 Furesearch activities in both countries，thecurrnt status of XuFu research，and representative viewpoints on Xu Fu research. Expertsarerequestedtoorrctanyinapropriatespects.InthfutureresearchonXuFuneedstofurterintegratecross-bderhistoricalmaterials，deepentheperspectiveofmaritimehistory，ndexplorethcontemporaryvalueofXuFuculureinbuildingaEast Asian cultural community.
