Abstract:Theundergraduateyearsareacriticalperiodforstudentstocultivatingtheirinnovativecapabilities.Inthecontext ofhighereducationreformandruralrevitalzationstrategiesinthenewera,thecultivationofscienticresearchandinovation capabilitiesofundergraduatestudentsmajoringingeographyisofgreatsignificancetoimprovingthequalityofgeographical sciencetalentsforruralrevitaliation.Inviewoftheproblemsexistingintheprocessofcultivatingtheinnovativescientific researchcapabilitiesofundergraduatestudentsmajoringingeographyinmajoruniversities，suchasimperfectcuriculumsystem, lowstudententusiasm，poormentorudanceeect,andinsuicietintegationwithdisciplinesrelatedtoualrevitalizatiotis studyproposesthat,infuturework，improvementscanbemadegraduallyfromfouraspects:optimizingthecuriculumsystem, cultivatingstudents‘interests，improvingthetutorsystem，andstrengtheningtheintegrationofgeographyandruralrevitalization relateddisciplines.Inthisway,thecomprehensiveabilityandinnovativeabilityofundergraduategeographymajorstoserverural revitalizationwillbeimprovedThisresearchisexpectedtoprovidetheoreticalreferenceforthecultivationofinnovativetalents in the field of geographical sciences in the new era.
