Abstract:Theundergraduateyearsareacriticalperiodforstudentstocultivatingtheirinnovativecapabilities.Inthecontext ofhighereducationreformandruralrevitalzationstrategiesinthenewera,thecultivationofscienticresearchandinovation capabilitiesofundergraduatestudentsmajoringingeographyisofgreatsignificancetoimprovingthequalityofgeographical sciencetalentsforruralrevitaliation.Inviewoftheproblemsexistingintheprocessofcultivatingtheinnovativescientific researchcapabilitiesofundergraduatestudentsmajoringingeographyinmajoruniversities,suchasimperfectcuriculumsystem, lowstudententusiasm,poormentorudanceeect,andinsuicietintegationwithdisciplinesrelatedtoualrevitalizatiotis studyproposesthat,infuturework,improvementscanbemadegraduallyfromfouraspects:optimizingthecuriculumsystem, cultivatingstudents‘interests,improvingthetutorsystem,andstrengtheningtheintegrationofgeographyandruralrevitalization relateddisciplines.Inthisway,thecomprehensiveabilityandinnovativeabilityofundergraduategeographymajorstoserverural revitalizationwillbeimprovedThisresearchisexpectedtoprovidetheoreticalreferenceforthecultivationofinnovativetalents in the field of geographical sciences in the new era.
