Abstract：Afterthe2OthNational Congressof theCommunistPartyofChinaproposedthe"constructionof livableand beautifulvillges"，GansuProvincerespondedactivelyutitstillfacesproblemssuchasunbalancedregioaldevelopmentsed onthefivemajorareasof GansuProvince，thispaperconstructsafive-dimensionevaluationindexsystemof"vilagebeauty， thrivingindustries，ectivegoverane，harmonousuralustomsandpeople'sappinessndusesteEntropy-WeightOI methodtomeasurethelevelofruralconstruction.TheresultsshowthattheoveralldevelopmentlevelofruralareasinGansuis nothigh，withunbalanceddevelopmentinvariousdimensionsandsignificantregionaldiferences，presentingthecharacteristof "Hexitakingthelead，centralpartlagingbehind，andnorthemnandsoutherngapwidening".Basedonthis，itisproposedto strengthenprovincial-levelcoordinationtoimprovecoreshortcomingssuchasinfrastructure，industriesandculturaldevelopent， andtoimplement"onepolicyforoneplace"forthefivemajorregions，soastopromotetheleapofruralconstructioninGansu from partial improvement to "overall harmony and beauty".
