Comprehensive Experimental Design of Analytical Chemistry Based on the Application of Polyelamine-modified Electrodes in pHValue Determination

Theexperimental contents are relatively single,andthecultivation of the higher-order thinking of students has been ignored,which stuggles toenhance thestudents’investigativeandinnovativecapabilities.Thispaperintroducesan analyticalchemistry experiment derived fromasientificresearch achievement—theapplication of polymelaminemodified electrodes forpH measurement.Polymelamine contains abundant N=N double bonds,and can undergo electrochemical redox process at specific potentials,which requires the participation of the H+ ions in the solution. The Nernst potentialoftheredox peak potential generated by polymelamine changes withtheconcentrationof thesoluble H+ ions,which enables thequantitative detectionofpHvalueof the solution.Integrating classicalanalyticalmethods and modern instrumental analysis methods,this experiment features novel and comprehensive contents,which is conducive to cultivating students’higher-order thinking as wellas pioneeringand innovative abilities.
