Abstract:This papersystematically interprets thecontentsof thenewversionofGB/T13021,Polyolefinpipes and fitings-Determinationofcarbon blackcontent-Calcinationandpyrolysismethod,fromsixspects:scope,test methods,instrument and equipment requirements,sample state adjustment,resultcalculation,and testreport.The new versionofthe standard has been implementedonMarch1,2O24.Inaddition to structuraladjustmentsandeditorial changes,italsochanges the sopeofapplication,nstrumentaccuracyrequrements,testmethods,teststeps,result calculation,andtestreports inthestandard.Onthebasisoftheoriginal thermogravimetric method (tubular electric furnace method),thebox-typeresistancefurnacemethod,mcrowavemuflefurnacemethod,andthermogravimetric analyzermethod(TGA)have beenadded,andtheinstrument device,testing steps,andresultcalculationof the three newmethods have been outlined.This paper compares theprinciples,advantages and disadvantagesof commonly used methods for measuring carbon black content in laboratories,which has certain reference significance for the factory inspectionofproductionenterprisesandtheproducttestingof inspectioninstitutions.Itaims tofacilitate beter understanding and use of this standard by stakeholders,and to promote its widespread application.
