Abstract：With the developmentof the social economyand the improvementof people's living standards，pets have gradually become important membersof many families.Asan importantpartofthe pet economy，the qualityand safety of petfoodhaveatractedmuchatention.However，theproblemssuchastheincompletestandardssystem，andthelackof standardsandregulations inthepetfoodindustryhave become importantfactorsafectingthe high-qualitydevelopment of China’s pet food industry.This paper analyzes the current situation of standardization in the pet food industry， constructs the standards systemforthe industry，and puts forwardcorresponding measures and suggestions forthe problems intheindustry，toprovideareferenceforpromotingthestandardizeddevelopmentofChina'spetfoodindustry.
